Spitfire, Shadow & Hurricane 5.9 Unite for a three day Nationals.
26/28th September 2008: In 2008, Three classes of which Reg White designed and produced will Unite for a three day National Championship in Brightlingsea, Essex.
Olympic Gold medallist Reg White will also be making this his Retirement Party.
After 60 years of building an astonishing list of boat Reg has finally decided that he’s going to be putting his feet up for a little while, bearing in mind he’s retired three times already.
The ever-building Spitfire fleet along with the fast growing Shadow fleet will meet the already competitive Hurricane 5.9’s for three days of pure racing just off the coast of Brightlingsea, Reg’s home town.
The Event will be all about the racing on the water and the drinking off the water, with a little mention of Reg now and then, just what many would expect from a party with the White’s. At the Moment where looking at having around 70 - 80 Catamarans, So all you need to do is get hold of a Spitfire, Shadow or Hurricane 5.9 as only a madman would miss this Event.
